Judith M. Venegoni

(nee Matis)

Age 82 years, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was born in Joliet on September, 20, 1941.

Judy was employed as a secretary at St. Mary Magdalene School for 20 years and then for the Will County Clerk's Office before retiring.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Beneventi) Matis and by her siblings, Joyce Parks and Denis Matis.

Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Maurice R. Venegoni; her daughters, Janet (Bob) Soto, Cindy (Dave) DelSasso and Nicole (Peter) Hauschildt; her grandchildren, Toni (Dan) Bene', Kaitlyn (Mike Hines) Soto, Jamie (Billy McMillion) Gordon and Bobby (Abby) Soto; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Farkas Funeral Home, Richard J. Tapella Director, 3201 West Jefferson Street on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judy's name to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431 would be appreciated.
