Kevin P. Cooney, age 55, passed away on, Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Survived by his wife of 6 years, Dawn Cooney; his two stepdaughters, Hannah (Rhett) Hopton and Sarah Rains; his mother, Helen Hrastara-Cole; sister, Kathy (Jim) Browning; two nephews, Michael Browning and Matthew Browning. Also survived by his faithful cats, Kiba and Remy. Preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Cooney. Kevin was a hardworker who would give the shirt off his back in order to help anyone in need. He loved all animals, but cats and horses held a special place in his heart. He enjoyed watching films and documentaries, especially regarding ancient history. Kevin and his easygoing attitude will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Per Kevin's wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
