Larry W. Lindsey, age 74, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Survived by his wife of 46 years, Vera Lindsey; children, Lamarr (Angelica) Collins and Latasha Williams; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Oliver Lindsey, Clifton Lindsey, and Helene Doss. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents, William Waters, and Cecelia Lindsey; brother, Marvin Lindsey and his sister-in-law, Ida Lindsey.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Per Larry's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded
