Today is July 13th. Lauren ..... my companion for 56 years and my loving,

caring, beautiful wife of 50 years died today. Words can not come close to the profound loss

that I feel in my broken, shattered, crushed and damaged heart to the point now I don't see

much of a future for me without my love with me. It would be impossible impossible for any person to

love a girl than a woman more than I love Lauren. I so very much hope and pray that it's true

that when I die I can be with my honey again.

Lifelong partner and wife, Lauren Nearing, peacefully passed away at her home in Chicago Illinois on Saturday, July 13, 2024.

Her memory lives on with her faithful husband Guy Nearing; two children, Justin Nearing and Alexis Kim, and grandchildren, Aaliyah, Logan, Grace, Henry, and Mina.

Lauren was remarkably strong in her final five months on Earth. She fought cancer in her 40s and she was fighting cancer again, many times she proved doctors, and family that she was stronger than everyone thought. She has passed away with dignity knowing that she fought hard, surrounded by her family who loved her right up to the end, and still.
