Liz "Maga" Cline, age 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17, 2023.

Survived by her husband of 26 years, Alan Cline; children, Christopher Sternal and Heather Ebersohl; grandchildren, Jacob Lopez, Joey Sternal, Anthony Ebersohl, Andrew Ebersohl, Aubree Ebersohl, and Libby Ziakis; sisters, Sue Cotton, and Patti (Mike) Calandro. Liz graduated with the class of 1979 from Joliet West High School, where she was a member of the Flag and Drill team. She spent 30 years working for the Joliet Police Department as the Records Supervisor. After she retired, she volunteered her time at All Herding Breed Dog Rescue of Illinois, as she greatly enjoyed working with rescue dogs. When not working at the shelter, you could often find her working in her craft room on many different projects. Liz enjoyed making her friends and family homemade gifts and loved trying the newest trends in the crafting world. The only thing Liz loved more than rescue dogs and crafting was spending time with her family. She spent many weekends with them camping or going on road trips. Liz was loved by friends and family for her strength of character and dependability.

Memorial services for Liz will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 6:00 pm. Memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until time of services. Per Liz's wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
