Lydia Rose Oraha, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.

Survived by her children, Sonia (Timothy) Baka, and Gilbert Garcia; grandchildren, Jennifer (Dion) Melendez, and Joseph Baka; great grandchildren, Jovanni, Giana, Mia, and Gabriella brother-in-law, John Campbell. Numerous nieces, great nieces and cousins also survive.

Preceded in death by parents, Salvador (Dorothy) Garcia; siblings, Theresa (Tony) Morales, Richard Garcia, Anthony Garcia, and Angelina Campbell.

Memorial Service for Lydia will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Sunday January 12, 2024, at 5pm. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until time of services. As it was Lydia's request, cremation rites have been accorded.
