Margaret Mary Secor (nee McDonnell), age 66, of Monee, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital. Survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Barry Secor, her children Stephanie (Gage) Fox, Meaghan (Martin) Lichter, and Scott (Nicole) Secor, her grandchildren Liam, Emily, Luke, Harper, Brooke, Trevor, Camden, Carter, and Cole, five siblings and one sister-in-law. Preceded in death by her parents James and Ruhla McDonnell. Margaret was a graduate of Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills. She worked for Kirkland and Ellis Law Firm as a legal secretary for 10 years, Dr. Schneider plastic surgeon for 5 years and for St. Joseph Hospital as a central scheduler for 10 years. She took pride in all her jobs. Margaret was an avid reader and she loved to crochet. She was a social butterfly and had a large circle of close friends. Margaret will be remembered for her selflessness, an evening glass of wine, her spotless home and basking in the sun, but most of all, her dedication to her husband, children, and grandchildren, all of whom her world revolved around. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Margaret will take place on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2-5:00 P.M. at Farkas Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 P.M. with Deacon Lupe officiating.
