Marion E. Lewis (nee Herod) age 93. Passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Survived by her four children, Charline Wright, Debra (Edward) Graham, Wanda (Mark) Patrick, and Robert Lewis; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear family members also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lewis; daughter, Jacqueline O'Kai; grandson, Deon Gathright; parents, Robert (Jetti) Herod and all of her siblings. Marion was born in Oxford, MI on June 6, 1926 to Robert (Jetti) Herod. She was baptized at a young age. She married Jessie Lewis on January 12, 1948 in Oxford, MI. In the late 1950's Marion and her husband moved to Illinois with their 5 children. Marion is retired from St. Joe's Medical Center after 30 years as a CNA. Marion loved to shop and to collect antiques and clothes. Per Marion's wishes, Cremation Rights have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00am at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W.
