Mary Lou El-Mereebi, age 75, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

She is survived by her husband, Manny El-Mereebi of 10 wonderful years; loving and devoted mother of Jackie (Dave) and Joshua (Tina); adored grandma of Lilly & Logan, Makenna & Nathan; treasured sister of Susan Rutherford; loving godmother & Aunt of Gina; caring Aunt of Lisa, Greg along with many other nieces and nephews; wonderful cousin and friend to many.

Preceded in death by her parents, Fred (Marie) Thompson.

Memorial services for Mary Lou will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of services. Cremation rites have been accorded.
