Maynard R. Hauge, age 81. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Hauge; his daughter Melissa (Matthew) McDonough; his grandchildren, Marcus McDonough and Melanie McDonough and his brother, Gary (Mary) Hauge. Also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Marcus (Ruby) Hauge and his brother, Donald Hauge. Maynard was born on November 20, 1938 in Morris, IL. He grew up in Morris and attended Morris Community High School, class of 1957. He then received a bachelor's degree from Lewis University, class of 1961. Maynard enlisted in the United States Army reserve for 6 years. Maynard work for ComEd and retired after 25 years. The family would like to thank the Joliet Area Community Hospice for their devoted care. Per Maynard's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Private funeral services for Maynard will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials sent in his name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Ronald McDonald House will be appreciated.
