Michael G. Taylor III, age 33, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on, Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Survived by his father, Michael (Dianna) Taylor Jr. and mother, Shirley (Thomas) Portegys; siblings, Phillip Bennett, and Ethan Batson; Aunts and Uncles, Mark Taylor, Monica (Tom) Stech, Charles Batson III, Leslie Batson, and Delford Jones; grandparents, Michael (Connie) Taylor Sr.; step grandmother, Lois Jones and his cousins, Matthew (Angelica) Salazar, Jeri Jo (Heather) Black, Maria Salazar, Lonnie (Harley) Weets, and Rocky Batson. Numerous friends also survive.

Preceded in death by grandmother, Jerle Taylor, and his aunt, Melissa Salazar.

Funeral services for Michael will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
