It is with great sadness that the family of Michele (Wiselogel) Forte announces her passing on October 12, 2019, at the age of 74. Her children August Forte of Chicago, IL, Anthony Forte of Fort Wayne, IN, Gina Forte of Traverse City, MI and Robert Forte of Shorewood, IL, survive her. She will be missed by her eight grandchildren: Juliana, Michele, Drew, Madison, Vivi, Nicholas, Sam and Eli. Michele is also survived by her former spouse, August L. Forte, SR of Wheeling, WV. She was preceded in death by her father Robert, mother Marjorie and brothers Michael, Mark and Malcolm. Michele was born in Dayton, Ohio and was a longtime resident of Joliet, IL. She had many friends dating back to her 40-year career as a Registered Nurse and was compassionate and dedicated to all of whom she cared for. She was a fan of football, liked to bake cookies, enjoyed a good mystery novel or cop show and loved doting on her grandchildren. She was active in her children's educations and extracurricular activities and was known for her generosity and outgoing personality. A private family mass will be held at the Church of St. Jude in Joliet, IL at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 17,2019.
