Norma J. Olson (nee Peterson) At rest on Thursday , May 28, 2015, at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her loving family by her side. Survived by her son Jerry (Judy) Olson and daughter Kristy (Craig) Haney; grandchildren Matt, Andrew and Jared Olson; Lauren Haney and Sean (Sarah) Haney; and great-grandchildren Aiden, Kinley, Stella and Silas. Preceded in death by her husband Dale Olson and her parents. Born in Union City, Tennessee. Very active and dedicated to the Ingalls Park United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Norma enjoyed baking and crocheting for her family and friends. Her love for Joliet East High School will never be forgotten. The Family would like to thank the staff at Alden Estates in Shorewood, Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Silver Cross Hospital and the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home for taking great care of Norma. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ingalls Park United Methodist Church of Joliet, in Norma''s name would be appreciated. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday June 3, 2015, at 10:00 AM. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park II (formerly Hills of Rest Cemetery).
