Pamela Jean Karl (Ferguson) passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 29th. Pam was born February 22,1952 in Morris IL and she has resided in Rockdale IL.

Survived by her daughters Tamara, Leslie and Kelly. Her brothers Gordon Jr (Missy), Mike, Terry (Renae) and Tim. Also 10 grandkids and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Her domestic partner, Craig, and loving ex-husband David also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Sr. and Romell Ferguson, and by her brother Mark.

She had deep love for cats! Her cats Chessy and Cheddar will deeply miss her. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was a loving and sweet person. She had such a big heart, she would help everyone anyway she could. She was a second mom to many kids. She was everyone's favorite brownie leader. She loved working in her garden and planting her flowers. She had a deep passion for sewing, dolphins, crafts, and finding the best deals at the thrift stores. She enjoyed fishing. She was best known for her cooking and would feed and over-feed everyone she could. Pamela collected many different things, but her favorite and most prized collection was her purple glassware.

Though Pam is no longer with us, the love she shared and the memories she created will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation for Pam will be held at the Farkas Funeral Home 3201 West Jefferson Street, Joliet on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
