Patricia Jackinowski, age 83, of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026

She was a woman defined by her kindness, generosity, and selfless heart—always helping others without hesitation and never seeking recognition in return.

Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved doing crafts, visiting with friends, and spending time with her family, who were the center of her world. To know Patricia was to feel welcomed, cared for, and deeply loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Josh) Pollack; her son, Michael Jackinowski; and her beloved granddaughter, Bella Pollack, who brought her endless pride and joy; and many family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; her son, Steven Joseph; her parents, John and Lavinia (Condon) Lind; and her siblings, Jack Lind, Jeffrey Lind, and Susan Lind.

While her passing leaves a deep void in the lives of those who loved her, her family finds comfort knowing she has been reunited with those who went before her.

Cremation services were entrusted to Farkas Funeral Home, Richard J. Tapella, Funeral Director. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Lightways Hospice for their compassionate care, and to her neighbor, Pauline Herbst, for her kindness, help, and support.

Patricia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the quiet ways she made the world a better place.
