Patrick D. McClard, age 67, passed away at home with his family at his side, Saturday, August 12, 2023.

Survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Jennee McClard; children, Brian (Jewel) McClard, Casey (Allen) Johnson, and Janelle (AJ) McClard; bonus children, Tracy Bratcher, and Sammie (Amanda) Flake; 13 grandchildren; a great grandson; fur baby, Harley; siblings, James McClard, and Marjorie McClard; sister-in laws, Nancy (Anthony) Smith and Marylou Attebery. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents, Charles (Emma) McClard; father and mother-in-law, Marvin (Mary) Fetzer; bonus son, Michael Flake; bonus son-in-law, Walter Bratcher and his bother-in-laws, Bill Fetzer and William Turner.

Patrick met the love of his life in high school. They separated with the encouragement of their parents and life brought them back together 21 years later, marrying on November 1, 1997. Patrick was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, collecting oil dip dots, poker chips and riding with friends. Patrick also loved getting together with family and friends to play euchre or ride to St. Joseph, Michigan to just have lunch at Silver Beach Pizza by the lake. Patrick played baseball and hockey throughout high school and received numerous awards and trophies.

Memorial Service for Patrick will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street Joliet, IL 6043 on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until time of service.
