Paul A. Beck, age 58, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Survived by his siblings, Lisa Beck, David (Diane) Vachon, Debbie (John) Thompson, Mary Vachon, Eva (Mike) Burns and Betty Vachon; nephews, Edward Mayer, Matthew Hamner and Michael Hamner; his stepmother, Nita Lenaway. Numerous family and friends also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Melvina Beck and Paul F. Beck. Paul moved to Joliet with his family in 1967. He spent his school years through the Minooka School District. Paul graduated from Minooka Community High School with the class of 1982. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and served from 1983 until 1987. In the Navy, Paul was able to travel the world. Upon his honorable discharge he came back to Joliet to start his career with the Chicago Pipefitters Local 597. Memorial service for Paul will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet IL. Memorial Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Per Paul's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
