Richard E. Pawelczyk, age 82 passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Survived by his wife of 56 years, Cheryl Pawelczyk (nee Pergler); children, Richard S. (Kathryn) Pawelczyk, Rachelle "Shellee" (David) Reavis, and Tracy Pawelczyk; grandchildren, Jocelyn and Dallas Reavis; sisters, Mary Jean (Edward) Horn, Loraine (Gerald) Chennault; brother and sister in laws, James Pergler, Norleen Pergler, and Sandee Pawelczyk. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents, Frank (Jean) (Powell) Pawelczyk; brothers, Thomas Powell, Harry Pawelczyk; brother-in-law, Ronald Pergler and his mother-in-law, Mary E. Pergler.

Richard grew up in Cicero and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He served 2 years in active duty and was in the reserves for 2 years. After he was discharged from the army he began his career with the Local Plumbers Union 130 UA as a surveyor. He was a 40-year member with the Plumbers Union. Richard love to garden, fish and boating. His favorite was spending time with his grandchildren and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Per Richard's wishes, cremations rites have been accorded. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
