Robert A. Mallary Jr. age 63, passed away peacefully on, Friday, February 08, 2019. Survived by his Mother, Diane Mallary; his sisters, Erin Bethard and DeeDee Gorgol; his nieces and nephews, Bryn Bethard, Laura Gorgol, Ryan (Nikki) Bethard and Kyle Gorgol; his great nephew Dominic Durish; and his cousins, Scott (Kim) Davis and Monte Davis. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mallary Sr. His grandparents, Howard (Margaret) Davis and Alfred (Ethel) Mallary. His Uncle Ted Davis and Aunt Thelma (Harold) Goodlow. Robert was born May 26, 1955 in Woodstock, IL to Robert and Diane (Nee Davis) Mallary. He was raised in Joliet, IL. Robert attended Joliet Township High School, in the special education program. Upon graduating he attended Cornerstone Services as a client, working in many of their programs. So many lives were touched by him. He was the most loving son, brother and uncle a family could ask for. Heaven has gained another angel. Funeral services will be held at St. Edward and Christ Episcopal Church, 206 N. Midland Avenue, Joliet, IL 60435 on February 14, 2019 at 11:00AM. Visitation from 10:30am until time of service.
