Robert J. "Bob" Skinner, age 60, of Morris, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at his home with his loving family at his side. Survived by his loving wife Patsy (nee Rittenberry), his children Shawn Rittenberry, Joseph (Samantha Donahue) Motel, Kristal Rittenberry, Nicholas Rittenberry, Cassandra Skinner, his grandchildren Jaxson Motel, Vada Motel, Shontez Rittenberry, Benny Urbano, his sister Kimberly Skinner and many dear family and friends. Preceded by his parents William Sandy Skinner, and his faithful canine companion "Optimus" only three days before Bob.

Bob was the owner and operator of Mike More Miles, formerly Merlin in Joliet, for more than twenty years. He enjoyed Drag Racing, anything NHRA, his motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson's, and attending and participating in many car shows. He also had a passion for wizards, swords, skulls and all things medieval. Bob was a generous, loving, kind hearted person who would do anything for anyone, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial Car Show will take place on Bob's birthday, Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 4-8:00p.m. at Farkas Funeral Home, participation in the car show is strongly encouraged.
