Robert "Bob" Sullivan Jr., age 74, of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, at his home.

Survived by his wife, Toni Sullivan (nee Suniga); daughter, Jackie Sullivan; grandchildren, Aria, Nicholas, Vinnie and Xavier, and his sister Norma (Vyto) Jonynas.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr., and Harriet (nee Tryzna) Sullivan.

Bob attended St. Augustine Grade School, Leo High School, and St. Rita High School in Chicago. Bob was a drug counselor for Stepping Stones Treatment Center in Joliet until becoming an independent counselor working with the Will County States Attorney's office, Drug Court Division. Bob enjoyed watching racing, fishing, watching the Chicago Bear's and a good Barbeque. He also enjoyed his grandkids, attending their various functions and watching his grandson Vinnie play baseball. A simple man who had a passion for his work and loved his family.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, IL. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave., Shorewood, IL, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
