Ronald A. McDowell Age 81, passed away peacefully Sunday April 16, 2017 at Presence St Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Ronald is survived by his wife of 53 years Lois Jean McDowell, his children Diane (Pat) Duggins, Scott (Michelle) McDowell; 6 grandchildren Derek, Ryan, Rachel Duggins, and Chelsea, Adam, and Zach McDowell. A brother Roger (June) McDowell and nephews Reid and Kip McDowell also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Paul and Constance McDowell. Ronald worked for Amoco Chemical for 33 years. He has enjoyed retirement for the past 25 years, especially enjoying fishing and shooting and growing his garden. Per Ronald''s wishes Cremation Rites were accorded with inurnment at Woodlawn Memorial Park I.
