A proud grandfather, he kept pictures of all the kids in his wallet, which he frequently showed off at Bingo! A great cook, a skill he learned in the Navy with breakfast and dinner specialties, that will surely be missed by all. A charming smile, great laugh, fantastic storyteller, with many quick and quirky sayings! Although Roy had a full life, he was anxious to be reunited with his beloved late wife, Geraldine Lopez (2002). A decorated Sailor of World War II, he was proud to have served in the United States Navy. Roy will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered by his family.
Prayer Service and Naval Honors will be held graveside at Woodlawn Memorial Park, August 28, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. and a celebration to life will follow.
