Royal "Guy" D. Hernandez, age 67, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Survived by his wife of 26 years, Cheryl Hernandez (nee Barnett); daughter, Nicole (Joe) Smith; sons, James (Carrie) Livsey, Jason (Melissa Almazon) Valy, and Jacob (Pam Reid) Livsey; grandchildren, Cameron Smith, Jace Valy, Spencer Dively, Blake Livsey, and Luke Livsey; father, Royal E. Hernandez, and his sisters, Connie (Steve) Bilik, and Cindy Quas. Numerous nieces and nephew also survive.

Preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Hernandez.

Guy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a hardworking and tough but a kind man. Guy was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a retired laborer from the Union Local 75. Guy had a great sense of humor, he enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Per Royal's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
