Steven E. Reeves, age 67 of Morris, IL passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 5, 2021. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Ann Reeves (nee Oelschlager); his children, Julie (David) Hanson and Jason (Robin) Oelschlager; his mother, Ruth Reese; his grandchildren, Haley (fiancé Jake Reed) Hanson, Makenzie Hanson, Tyler Hanson, Allysha Smith, Christopher Wilson, Reagan Oelschlager and Jaycee Oelschlager; 3 great grandchildren and his siblings, Lynn (Dave) Perkins and Dan Reeves. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his father, Bill Reese. Steven was born on July 20, 1953 in Bloomington, Illinois. He attended Illinois School of the Deaf where he graduated. He worked for Spraying Systems and retired in 2009. Steven married the love of his life, Mary Ann Oelschlager on February 9, 1991. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. Steven enjoyed camping with his wife and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Steven loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. One of his favorite things was his dog, Daisy. Steven will be missed every day! A celebration of life will be held at The VFW Post 6049, 309 McKinley St. Morris, IL, 60450 on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
