Susan M. Pikul, age 65, of Shorewood, passed away at her home in Arizona on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Survived by her husband of 28 years, Stanley Pikul; her daughter, Samantha (David) Ruhe; her grandson, Logan, and a granddaughter on the way; her father, Helmuth "Red" Goering; her siblings, Alan (Liz) Goering, Sandy (fiancé, Robert Valadka) Fogerty and Dale Goering; her sister-in-law and dear friend, Shirley (James) Tagliere-Moore. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Goering and her brother-in-law, Len Fogerty. Funeral services for Susan will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:30 PM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service. As it was Susan's request, cremation rites will be accorded following services. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Sue's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated.
