Willa Jean Aldworth Willa Jean Aldworth (nee Knop), age 88, passed away peacefully on Sept. 21, 2018 at home with her family by her side. Survived by her daughter Debra (Phillip) Englert and son Alan (Susan) Aldworth; Precious grandmother of Eric Englert, Alan Aldworth Jr., Annie (Josh) Gowens, Daniel Aldworth, James (Nelly) Englert, Tina (Brock) Soper, Scott Aldworth, Kim Aldworth, Cody (Sierra) Horstmann, Savannah Horstmann, and great grandmother to 12. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Vern Aldworth; two granddaughters, Jeanna Englert and Kelsey Aldworth; her parents William (Louise) Knop; a daughter in law Janice Aldworth; a brother William Knop Jr. and a sister Mary Lou (Don) Hinspeter. Born on May 25, 1930 in her home in Joliet. She was an employee at Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet for 15 years. Funeral services will be held at the Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Thursday September 27, 2018 at 10:00AM. Interment will be at Hills of Rest Cemetery (Woodlawn Memorial Park II). In lieu of flowers memorial to Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
