Northern Arizona held a very special place in his heart, frequently traveling to see his oldest daughter, Melissa, and his granddaughters. He was a very proud of his years coaching his daughters in basketball at Elwood School and his son in baseball at St. Joes Park. His affinity for teaching extended into helping neighbors, family, and friends in their kitchens and gardens. Often then enlisting them to "volunteer" in his own yard or kitchen. Bill loved golf, gardening, and dirtying every dish in the kitchen preparing some of his incredible dinners. His ultimate hobby was spending time enjoying a cocktail, telling old stories, and listening to music in admiration of his hard work in the lawn or kitchen with friends, family, and anyone else interested in all the above.
