William C. Boyd, age 81, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Survived by his wife of 32 years, Janet Boyd; Children, William Young, Adam (Betty) Young, Barbara Sherman and, Rosie (Daniel) Galindo; stepchildren, Kathleen Lukancic, John (Kristine) Ruddy, Erin Ruddy, Lori (Jesse) Buchanan and Brian Ruddy; his caregiver and granddaughter, Colleen Lukancic; brother, Daniel Boyd. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Preceded in death by his sons, Clifford Boyd and Robert Young; grandson, Michael Freiling; parents, Clifford (Anna) Boyd; sisters, Geraldine Anderson, and Maryann D'Amico.

Funeral services for William will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations made in William's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated.
